Chapter 30– Teachers Who Needs Them (Jacquie’s POV)

I wake up and have a shower as usual. I get dressed, walk into the kitchen and have a coffee.
“Well someone looks tired” Mark says to me.
“Yeah I know” I say
“Look at those bags under your eyes Mark, tsk tsk you should sleep more”
He laughs.

I walk to my room with what’s left of my coffee.
I drink the rest of it and put it on the table, I get all my stuff ready for school.

When I finish I take my cup out and bring my bag with me.
“Wanna lift?” Mark asks.
“Nah, gonna walk” I reply.
“Okay see ya, I’m going shopping with your Mum, Her friend…”
“Kay’s birthday is coming up I know Sir Talks A Lot” I laugh.
He smiles, walks with mum to the car and drives off.
I lock up after them and walk to Andrew’s.

When I arrive Andrew, Mel, Jared and Tahlia are waiting for me.
“Hiya” I say.
“Hey” they say.
We start walking to school.
“Hi guys” Someone says.
We look to see who it is.
Sure enough it’s Simon again.
“Hi Simon” I say.
“Hey” he says, “So can I walk with you guys?”
“Uhh sure” Jared says.
We continue walking to school but now with Simon.

When we arrive at school Jared and Andrew go off to find a teacher, something about extra time on assignment. I’m guessing Andrew didn’t finish.
“So… do much?” I ask Simon.
“Umm no I just read and play sports and yeah that’s it” He says.
“Yeah” I say.
“Well not being mean or anything but girl business” Mel says.
“Oh okay I’ll see you girls later” he says and walks off.
“What girl business?” I ask.
“No that was to get rid of him” she says.
“He gives me the creeps” Tahlia replies.
“Same” Mel and I say.
“Anyways what have you guys got?” I ask.
“Maths” they say.
“Well that sucks” I say.
“Eh it could be worse we could have…. SPORT” Tahlia says and starts laughing.
“Yeah or le musique as Miss Carly says” She laughs.
“Music is awesome” I say.
“But not with a German teacher” Mel says.
“She’s French” Tahlia says “Stupid blonde”
“Well at least I didn’t get in trouble for having purple hair” she says.
“It wasn’t purple…. It was dark blue and it looked awesome” Tahlia says.
“Touche” Mel replies and they laugh.
“What have you got then?” Tahlia asks me.
“English with Mr Pierson” I say.
“Mr Pierson is awesome” Mel says.
“Yeah until you have him as a teacher” I say.
“What do you mean?” Mel asks.
“I swear he hates me” I reply.
“Oh well that must suck” She says.
“Yeah if anyone talks its detention, especially for me or Andrew or any other goth or emo” I say.
“I’m guessing he has something against Goths?” Tahlia says.
“Oh hell yeah” I say.
We all laugh.
We stop when Mr Pierson walks past us.
He finally reaches administration block and stops.
“Do you think he heard us?” I ask.
“Oh Miss Valkyrie” Mr Pierson yells out to me and begins walking towards me.
“Yeah Sir” I say confused.
He finally reaches me.
“You still owe me a detention Miss Valkyrie,” He says looking down his nose at me.
“Please call me Jacquie” I say being a smart arse “ And also no I don’t”
I see rage fire in his eyes. Oh shit I should have just gone with the whole nod and agree, but I can’t make myself look like a loser in front of Tahlia and Mel.
“Well Miss Valkyrie you know have 2 detentions” He says with a smile and walks off.
“Asshole” I say under my breath.
“3” He yells out.
“GOD” I yell.
He finally walks into the office.
“Well I guess that sucks” Mel says.
“Hell yes” I say.

The bell rings…

“OH THAT’S JUST FUCKEN DANDY, I’VE GOT HIM NOW” I yell.
“Jacquie please none of that language here” Miss Hanson says.
“Sorry Miss” I say.
“Well at least Miss Hanson caught you, she’s nice but if you got caught by Mr Pierson again you would have 4 detentions” Tahlia says.
“Whatever” I say in a pissed mood and walk off without saying bye.

I get to English and walk inside Andrew has saved me a seat right at the back as far away from the window as possible. I go to sit next to him.
“Miss Valkyrie you are sitting next to Simon in front of my desk so you don’t talk though my class again and make it 4 detentions” Mr Pierson says.
“You must be getting pretty sick of my face sir” I say angrily and sit next to Simon.
“Out” Mr Pierson says angrily pointing to the door.
“Ooo can’t even control a kid that is what 40 years younger than you, I’m guessing you can’t control anyone then” I say “what a great teacher you are”
I walk outside and lean against the wall.
“To the Principals office now” He yells out to me.
“Oh fuck that, bastard” I say and walk off down the hall and onto the playground and out the gates of the school.
For sure I was going to get a suspension.


(Andrew’s POV)
“See that is what you call a stupid skank” Mr Pierson says.
People gasp at his use of words.
“What the fuck did you say about my girlfriend?” I ask getting up from my seat.
“Sit back down Mr Hyde” He yells at me.
“Make Me,” I say.
“Detention Mr Hyde” he says angrily.
I shrug.
“Oh well” I say.
“2 detentions” He says even angrier.
“Jacquie was right you couldn’t control anyone” I say with a smirk.
“To the principals office you will be joining Miss Valkyrie with her suspension” he says.
“Good, not like I wanted to stay with an ass of a teacher like you” I say.
I walk out the room and he slams the door shut after me.

I begin to walk down to the principals office. When I get there I look around for Jacquie. No sign of her. Shit she must have walked out the school instead, The door opens and Mr Folie (Principle) walks out.
“Andrew” he says slightly confused.
“Yeah that’s me” I say.
“Mr Pierson called a few seconds ago and said you and Jacquie were on your way down to me” He says “But were is Jacquie?”
“I don’t know sir” I say.
“Well that’s not good” He says.
Mr Folie was a very nice principal compared to others, He hardly yelled and if he did you must have done something really, really bad like kill someone.
“I have a feeling that she might be outside or off grounds and I was wondering, Can I go get her?” I ask.
“Well I guess she would do that” he says “If you promise that you and her come back here once you find her, I suppose you can go after her”.
“Thank you sir” I say and walk out of the room and outside.
I look around on school grounds, No sign. I walk out the gates of the school, I look around. Where the hell could she be?
What would she do?
My phone vibrates, I take it out.

Dude, what are you doing out of class
Jared

I turn around and look at blocks and spot him looking out the window.

I’m looking for Jacquie okay don’t worry I’ll tell ya later.

I send the txt and realize I can call her, God I’m stupid.

I call her number.
No Answer.
I call again, she answers.
“Where are you?” I almost yell before she says anything.
“Don’t matter” she says.
I listen as closely as possible to the background sound on the sound to see if it will give me a hint.
“Come on I’m outside the school looking for you” I say.
“Now you're in trouble” she says “Arhh god dammit”
“What?” I ask scared.
“I’m fine I just fell a bit on the branch and ripped my shirt” she says “Oh fuck you probably know where I am”
I begin walking looking at every tree.
“Tell me where you are its okay” I say “Yeah we will be suspended but it will be okay we will probably get a new English teacher anyway”
“Fine, Man I hate how you can make me say anything” she says “I’m in a tree in the park near Angst Records”
“Okay I’ll be right there” I say running there.
She hangs up.
Man there is so much I don’t get about chicks.
I get there and look around for her.
I find her lying in the tree, with her back on the branch looking up at the sky. I can’t see her face but I know it’s her, One of her legs is hanging of the branch.
“You know I could pull you down by your leg” I say jokingly.
No answer.
“Jacquie” I say kinda worried.
“I’m fine” she says quietly.
“Come down then” I say.
“No” She replies.
“Fine I’m coming up” I say.
I climb the tree and sit next to her.
I look at her, She has a blank look on her face and as she said her shirt is torn.
“You okay?” I ask.
“I guess” she says “Except for the fact I’m going to be suspended and then my mum OH she’s gonna kill me”
“No she won’t, just say he was asshole and picking on you” I say.
She sits up immediately after I finished speaking.
“It’s not that fucken easy when you have a history of being expelled and suspended” she yells at me.
She jumps down off the tree and lands on her feet, Fuck it’s a long way down how the hell does she just do that without another thought.
“Can you throw me my bag I’m going home” She says.
“You have to come with me back to school Mr Folie is waiting for us” I say climbing down the tree.
No way I was gonna jump.
“No, he will call my mum and…” She says but I cut her off with a kiss.
She kisses me back.
I pick her up.
“Hey” she almost screams.
“I promised Mr Folie” I say.
“And you promised you would protect me” She says.
“And I am” I say.
“How?” She asks.
“Well lets see most time your mum is out and Mark works a fair bit and well that means you're alone” I say.
“I don’t see how that helps Andy” She says.
Man I loved it when she called me Andy, when everyone else said it I hated it.
“Well it means my mum would probably have to look after you” he says.
“Man I love you Andy you're so fucken logical” She says hugging me tightly.
“I love you too babe” I say.

I carry her all the way to the Principals office. It was recess at the time so you can just imagine all the looks we were getting. I mean its damn random seeing a guy carry a girl ‘wedding style’ into the office, The Principal smiled as we came in.
“It’s nice to see young people in love” he says.
I put her on her feet.
We smile.
“Well I am afraid you are both suspended” he says quite serious.
“I guessed that would happen” Jacquie said.
“Well your parents are on their way” Mr Folie says.
“I can’t be here while they are here” she says quickly “Please can I go anywhere away from that conversation please”
“Well I guess but I would prefer if you were here” he says.
“I don’t wanna be around mum” she says.
“Fair enough both of you can go into the library, Cause I’m guessing you probably wanna be with her” He says referring the last part to me.
“Yes” I say “I do”
I look at her she seems lost in thought but looks up and smiles at me.
“Well you two go off to the library” He says.
“Thanks” She says.

We walk off to the library, I grab her hand she looks at me and smiles and we continue to walk. We go inside the library.
We see Jared, Mel and Tahlia sitting talking Until Jared spots us. I look at him and he waves us over.
I hear Jacquie breath in loudly and then out.
We walk over to them.
“So you gonna tell us?” Jared says.
Jacquie sighs.
“And by that I know its bad and by the look on your face Andrew you're in trouble too” Mel says.
“Well yeah” I say “It all started when…”

Chapter 29– I’m going **8pm**(Jacquie’s POV)

“I’m going, see ya” I say “Bye Jared”.
“Bye Jacquie” He says.
“Jacquie are you going?” Tahlia yells from out of her room.
“Well you heard me” I say with a laugh.
“Aww stay a little longer” Mel yells.
“Nah I’m kinda busy” I reply.
“Please” Tahlia says.
“I gotta couple emails I gotta send” I say.
“A couple now?” Jared asks.
I glare at him and he slides down in his chair avoiding my gaze.
“Fine, we will just annoy Jared” Tahlia says.
“Be my guest” I say looking at Jared who was now looking at me with a worried look on his face “Bye Jared, have fun” I say.
“Bye” he replies weakly.
“Bye T and M” I say
“See ya” They say.
I walk the door and shut it.

I start walking back to my place.
I take a little detour and go to a little shop so I can get a drink.
I was damn thirsty, I walk inside a search the shelves for an ice coffee. When I find the one I want I go to the counter and pay for it, I walk out of the shop and take a few sips and continue walking to my place.
“Heya Jacquie” someone says from behind me.
I turn around. It’s Simon, a guy from my school who is a wannabe jock and he is very unpopular with the other jocks. I talked to him once and he seemed nice but ever since he has been trying to come into our little group, He is quite tall and dresses always in sport clothes except when he is at school when he of course wears school uniform, He has red hair and brown eyes.
“Hi Simon” I say.
“So how you been?” he asks.
“Pretty good” I reply.
“That’s good” he says.
“Well I better be going my mum is expecting me” I say with a smile and start walking home again.
“My house is near yours” he says, “I’ll walk with ya”.
Damn I forgot about that.
He walks beside me.
“So” I say.
“Done much this weekend?” he asks.
“I have been with my boyfriend most of the time” I reply.
“Okay anything else?” he asks.
“Umm I was with Tahlia, Mel and Jared as well” I says.
“Watch any movies?” he asks.
“Yeah heaps” I reply.
“Any good ones?” he asks.
“Yeah but I can’t remember the titles except Jaws, I love watching it, it cracks me up” I say.
“Okay” he says as if making a mental note.
“Well my house is just there, Bye” I say.
“Bye” he says and I run off to my house.
I go inside.
Phew it’s good to be home, That was quite … awkward.
“Hi everyone” I yell and walk to the living room where they are.
“Hey” Mum and Mark reply.
“How are you?” I ask them.
“Good” they both say.

I smile and go into my room.
I turn my laptop on and put my phone next to it.
I go onto my email account and check my emails, Of course there is one from Mikey cause he just loves to send email, It could be like anything and he will send me an email about it.
I read it.

Heya Jacquie,
Well how are you and what have you been doing?
I haven’t done much just been practicing bass, Frankie said I’ve improved a bit but I don’t believe him I think he is being nice. Gerard has been really mopey and has been drawing a lot. He auditioned for a play at school and got the main role, which everyone was happy about but he decided he didn’t want to do it anymore and quit, Mum was very upset about it, Mum said he had a gift and he should use it, Gerard didn’t care and he has been avoiding everything including school. I don’t know what’s up but I talk to him and he seems to get a bit happier but then he doesn’t care and ignores me.
Anyway I better get going.
Mikey

I begin to write my reply:

Hey Mikey,
I’m good, I haven’t done much either just school and watching movies with friends. Everything seems good where you are except Gerard, Any improvement from him? And Mikey can you keep your eye on him for me? Just make sure he is okay? Anyways is Matt and Paula’s relationship okay still? Last time I heard about it, it wasn’t great. Well I got to go

“Jacquie” Mum calls.
“Yo” I yell to her.
“Wanna talk to Kerrie?” she asks.
“Hell yeah” I say walking out of my room and to Mum who was holding the phone.
Mum is smiling and she passes me the phone. I take it from her.
“Hey Ker…” I say
“OH MY GOD JACQUIE I’M ENGAGED” Kerrie yells into the phone.
“OH MY GOD REALLY? WHO?” I ask.
“JIMMY” She yells.
“What?” I ask.
“Jimmy” she says.
“I thought you two were only friends” I say.
“Yeah but we got real close when you guys left, we didn’t say anything though” she says.
“Just leave us out then” I say jokingly.
“Yeah I did” She says and laughs.
“Can I talk to Jimmy?” I ask.
“Sure” she says and calls for Jimmy.
“Hello” Jimmy says.
“And I thought you were gay” I say.
“What a great welcoming to your future Uncle” he says jokingly.
“Oh my god I can’t believe it” I say “Two of my fave people getting married sooner or later”
“Aww I’m one of your fave people” Jimmy says.
“Yeah you're awesome” I say “But seriously I thought you were gay”
“Well you definately know I’m not gay anymore” he says.
“You wanna talk to mum?” I ask.
“Yeah” he says.
I pass the phone back to mum.
Mark is looking at mum with a quizzical look, I’m guessing mum hasn’t told him.
“Jimmy and Kerrie are engaged” I whisper to him.
“Oh that explains a lot” he says.
I ran back to my room and make a e-mail for everyone saying:

Hey everyone,
I don’t know if you know that Kerrie is now engaged, and to Jimmy who thought that. I seriously thought he was gay, Anyways can you guys do me a big favour and go to Kerrie’s and congratulate her? I would be very grateful.

I send it to Gerard, Mikey, Ray, Matt, Paula and Frankie.
Oh my god I still can’t believe it.
I turn on my stereo. Ooo Anthrax just what I like but I feel like … Smashing Pumpkins I just got their CD “Siamese Dream”, I put it on and I listen to Cherub Rock.

I walk out to the living room to check if Mum is still on the phone, She isn’t she's talking to Mark really happily, I listen in.
“It’s so great that they are together” Mum says.
“Yeah, I could kinda tell Jimmy liked her though” he says.
“You could?” Mum says.
“Yeah” he says.
“Okay” She says and spots me “So what do you think Jacquie?”
“It’s great” I say.
“Hey Jacquie I need to talk to you” Mark says.
We both look at Mark.
“Umm sure” I reply.
He walks over to me and we walk into my room.
I mute my stereo.
“So” I say.
“Well I’m not copying Jimmy in anyway but I was wondering can I umm marry your mum?” he asks.
“Well sure of course, as long as you're nice to her I’m good” I say.
“Thanks so much, when do you reckon I should ask her?” He asks.
“Umm well not now you should wait a month or two 'cause if you do it now its gonna look like you are copying Jimmy” I say.
“Okay thanks again” he says and walks out my room.
Man everyone wants to get married, Who knows, I might have Andrew at my doorstep asking me my hand in marriage. DAMN I gotta study for a test tomorrow. I quickly pull out my book of notes from English and start reading.

11pm…
“Night Mum” I say to mum as she walks to her bedroom.
“Night, you know you should get some sleep for that test” She says “Did you study?”
“Yes Mum I studied, I will go to bed in like 5 minutes” I reply.
“Okay night” and she walks inside her room.I get a drink of water and go to bed.

Chapter 28– Waking Up **1 hour later**(Jacquie’s POV)

“Jacquie” someone calls.
“mmmmmmm” I say.
“You gonna get off me I gotta call Andrew see where he is” the voice says.
I get up and rub my eyes, Shit. I was lying on Jared.
“Oh my god. sorry I was lying on you,” I say.
“You fell asleep like 10 minutes ago and then you fell on me and then you yelled out 'sorry Gerard' and then I’m like does she mean Jared” he says.
“Oh sorry, Gerard’s a friend of mine,” I say nervously.
“Didn’t you say something about him last year or something?” Jared asks.
“No…. pfft where’d you get that from” I say trying to cover up.
“I dunno I just remember that name,” he says.
“You were gonna call Andrew” I say.
“Oh yeah be right back” he says and walks off.

“So how about you explain Gerard to me” Someone says.
I turn and see Tahlia.
“Oh just a friend” I say.
“Actually I remember that name too,” she says walking over to me.
“It’s a common name,” I say.
“Sure Jacquie, Tell me” She says.
“He is just a friend,” I say.
“Fine, when you wanna talk I’m here” she says sitting next to me.
I nod.

Jared walks in.
“He will be here as soon as his sis finds something,” he says
“Finds what?” I ask.
“I dunno he was like oh I will be there soon my sis is trying to find … something” he says.
“Ooo” Tahlia says.
Jared shrugs and sits down.
“So” I say.
“So what?” Jared asks.
“I dunno trying to make conversation” I say.
“Oh” he replies “Well umm.. hows your umm.. mum?”
“She’s good” I reply “Yours?”
“Alright” he replies
An evil smile appears on his face.
“Before I left we were talking about … Gerard” he says smirking.
“HE IS A FRIEND” I yell.
“Geez get emotional on me” He says joking.
“Yeah you know it” I joke back.
“Well anyways serious what’s up with him?” he asks.
“GOD drop it he is just a friend” I say getting kinda angry.
“Well you wouldn’t just says his name during your sleep for nothing” he says.
“It is probably just a random dream okay, drop it,” I say
He gives me a look. A look I know way too well, The ‘yeah whatever’ look.
“Gah I HATE YOU” I yell.
“Aww and I love you” he jokes.
“You know I was kidding I love you soooo much” I joke.
“Hell yeah I know you wanna dump Andrew and marry me and have … a gazillion kids with me” he says joking (of course).
“Okay you crossed the line,” I say.
“What line I see no line?” he jokes.
“Dumbass its right there” I say pointing to him.
“Where?” he asks now seriously not knowing what I was talking about.
I get up and walk over to him and stop.
“What?” he asks looking at me.
“It’s right there,” I say again pointing to him.
He looks at his shirt “where?”.
I flick his nose.
“Oh ha ha very original” he says rubbing his nose.
I sit next to him.
“Yep” I say.

There’s a knock at the door.
“Come in if you're sexy” Jared yells out.
Andrew comes in.
“Damn sexy” he says with a laugh.
Mel walks in.
“Me? Sexy? I don’t think I’m welcome here” she jokes.
“Yeah get the hell out,” Jared says.
Mel covers her eyes and pretends to cry, She laughs and then sits down, Andrew stands next to her.
The room goes silent.
I look at Andrew.
He looks at me and shrugs.
“As much fun as it is to sit in a room with your sister, her friend, your best mate and his girlfriend in silence I think we should do something” Jared says.
“Like what?” Tahlia asks.
Jared shrugs
“All I know is that Andrew and Jacquie want a room together by themselves” He says with a wink.
Mel and Tahlia crack up laughing.
“Oh totally” I say, “You can join us”
Jared laughs “Sure”.
“Don’t I have a say?” Andrew asks jokingly.
“Nope” I say and start laughing.
“There will be none of that” Jared’s mum says entering to room.
Everyone stops laughing.
I look at Jared. He has a shocked look and his face.
Had she been listening to us the whole time?
Did she know it was a joke?
I hope she did.
“Mum they were only joking” Tahlia says.
“Sure” Her mum says sarcastically.
“Serious we were” I say.
She focuses her gaze on me.
“And I’m supposed to believe that” She says but smiles.
“MUM stop it” Jared says with a laugh.
“He he got ya” She says.
She did this quite often but still we fell for it.
“You guys are so easy” she says leaving the room.
We all laugh.
“We so have to get her back one day” Jared says.
“Yeah” Andrew says.
We all stop laughing.
“I SWEAR IF IT GOES SILENT AGAIN I WILL KILL YOU ALL” Jared yells.
“What is with you and silence?” I ask.
“I just don’t like silence it’s so…. Quiet” He replies.
“Nah duh” Andrew and I say at the same time.
We laugh a little.
Jared turns the TV on.
He flicks through heaps of channels.
“How many channels do you need?” I ask.
“I dunno” He replies.
“Rhetorical question” I say.
“I like to answer all questions” He says.
“Okay then, why is it that when I bring up the question did you have it with Kristen you shut up?” I ask knowing he will probably shut up.
“Well we didn’t anyways, I just don’t like her being brought up,” He says.
“Oh okay” I say.
The room goes silent again.
“I WARNED YOU GUYS” Jared says getting up and pretends to choke Andrew.
“Don’t go crazy on us” I say jokingly.
Jared drops to the floor and acts as if he was having a fit.
Tahlia and Mel look at each other then us.
“You guys suck” Mel says.
“Except Jacquie” Tahlia adds.
“Umm thanks,” I say.
Jared stops and shakes his head.
“You don’t like guys cause you two are…” He says.
“Don’t say it” Andrew says.
“Lesbians” Jared finishes.
“Oh you're in for it” Andrew says.
“Jarey” Tahlia says with an evil smile.
Jared goes a little red in the face.
“Don’t say it,” he yells.
“Jarey baby” She says with her smile getting more evil.
“Don’t please I’ll take it back?” Jared begs.
“Why shouldn’t I?” Tahlia says.
“Cause… um… you’re my favourite sister?” he says.
“Wrong” Tahlia says.
“Umm cause your not lesbian” he says.
“True but not what I’m looking for” she says her smile still getting more evil.
Jared sighs.
“Cause I will give you the $50 I owe you” he says.
“Plus” she says.
“Another $10” he sighs.
“$20” she says when her smile finally reaches its maximum evilness.
“WHAT?” Jared says.
“Jarey baby I want to say I’m…” she says.
“FINE” Jared practically yells.
“Okay” she says.
Mel looks at her as if to say what is it.
I nudge Jared with my elbow.
“Just don’t worry about it okay” He says storming off into his room and slamming to door.
“What the hell?” I ask anyone willing to answer.
“Sorry he has paid me not to tell anyone” Tahlia says directing Mel to her room.
I look at Andrew and he returns the gaze and shrugs.

I walk to Jareds door and knock.
No answer.
“Man and I thought when girls get pms it was bad” I say.
Andrew laughs a little.
I knock again.
No answer again.
I turn the doorknob.
It opens.
He is sitting on his bed reading a comic book.
“Now Mr Comic what’s up?” I ask walking over to him and sitting on the edge of his bed.
Andrew walks in and stands next to me.
Jared pays no attention to us.
I roll my eyes and steal his comic.
“Hey” he says.
“What’s up?” I ask.
He makes an attempt to grab the comic but it fails.
“I’ll burn it” I say.
“And I’ll…” he says breaking his silence but stops.
“You’ll what?” I ask.
“Aww just leave me alone” He says.
“Come on tell me” I beg him.
He knew I hated it when people kept things from me.
“I’ll tell Andrew but I don’t wanna say it to you” Jared says “no offence”.
“Does that mean Andrew can tell me?” I ask.
“I guess” he says.
I nod and give him his comic back and walk out the room and close the door.
I try to listen into to what they were saying but they were talking so quiet until…
“WHAT???” Andrew yells.
“Shhhhh” Jared says loudly.
I move away from the door as I hear footsteps getting closer.
Andrew opens the door and pulls out his phone.

He sits on the couch and dials a number.
“Dude don’t worry about it” Jared says walking out after him.
“Hello Miss WHORE” Andrew says.
“Fuck” Jared says under his breath.
“What?” I ask.
“YOUR SUCH A MOLE, LEAVE JARED ALONE OKAY” Andrews yells into the phone.
Theres some silence and then Jared yells “YEAH YEAH BITCH YOU TOTALLY MEAN THAT DON’T YA” and hangs up.
“OKAY SOMEONE EXPLAIN” I yell.
“Kristen that slut, prank called Jared” Andrew replies.
“She does that to everyone” I say.
“But she was pretending to like Jared and asked him out and he said yes for some crazy retarded reason, and then she’s like eww who would go out with you, and then he realised other people were listening” Andrew says.
“Oh” I say.
“Exactly” Andrew moans.
“I thought you hated her?” I ask.
“I did but then I dunno I just thought you know why not” Jared says.
“Cause she’s a whore” Andrew replies.
“I get it” Jared says sitting next to him.
“She’s so … YUCK” Andrew says.
“All you can think of is yuck?” Jared asks.
“Eww, Disgusting, Vomit worthy the list goes on Jared” Andrew says.
“GEEZ I GET IT” He says.
“Good cause if I hear you do that again…” Andrew says.
“You’ll gut me like a fish” Jared says.
“No I will…” Andrews says but it cut off by Jared.
“I don’t wanna know” he says.
“Okay” Andrew replies.
“So” I say sitting down on the ground in front of them.
“You know you can sit on a seat,” Jared says.
“Yeah I know” I say.
“Then why don’t you?” he asks.
“Cause I don’t wanna” I say.
Jared rolls his eyes.
“You know one day when you go to roll your eyes the wind will change and they will be stuck like that” I say.
“Awesome” he says rolling his eyes again.
“Stop it” I say.
“Never” he says doing it again.
I punch him in the leg.
“Oww” he says rubbing his leg and then rolling his eyes.
“Andy stop him” I say in a whiney voice.
“But its fun” Andrew says rolling his eyes.
“Gah” I say getting up and sitting on him.
“What the hell?” He asks.
“The ground wasn’t comfortable” I say.
“Okay” he says.
“My eyes hurt now” Jared says.
“Told ya” I say.
“No you said they would get stuck like that” He says.
“Same difference” I say.
“Nah” Jared says.
“Yeah” I say.
“Nah” He says again.
“Yeah” I reply.
“Shut up” Andrew says.
“What?” Jared asks.
“The whole yeah and nah thing its annoying” Andrew replies.
“Geez someone’s a grumpy goat” Jared says smiling.
“What the Fuck?” Andrew says.
“What Grumpy Goat?” Jared says.
I hold in my giggles.
“I’m not a Grumpy Goat” Andrew says.
“Yeah you are” Jared says.
“Nah, Oh crap you made me do it” Andrew says.
Jared laughs a little.
Andrew gets up holding me and puts me back down.
“I’m gonna go home now” He says.
“Why? Don’t leave me here they will kill me” Jared says.
“Well I gotta do my assignment that was due like on Friday and I have to give it in on Monday and well today’s Saturday so I only have today well tonight to finish it” Andrew replies.
“Okay as long as Jacquie stays to save me from my sis and yours” Jared replies.
“Fine but I’m going home at 8 cause I wanna send a friend an email” I say.
“Okay glad that’s settled bye” Andrew says running out the door.
“That’s so not like him” Mel says walking with Tahlia to Tahlia’s bedroom.
“What do you mean?” I ask but they are all ready in the room and the door is closed.
Jared shrugs.
“So what you wanna do?” He asks.
“Die” I say jokingly.
“Or talk about Ger…” he says.
“SHUT UP” I yell.
“Sorry couldn’t resist” he says with a smile.
“Aren’t you funny” I say sarcastically.
“Hell yeah” he says.
“Rhetorical question Stupid” I say.
“Calm down Jacquie” he says.
“Fine” I say.
I close my eyes and count to ten, I open eyes again.
“Man that never works” I say.
“Yeah that’s why I close my eyes and think of something awesome” he replies.
“Sure” I say and close my eyes.
“Or Gerard” he says under his breath.
“OH GOD SHUT UP” I yell.

Chapter 27– I don’t wanna see another movie **a year later** (Jacquie’s POV)

“Another movie?” I ask.
“Yeah this one has a zombie that tries to kill Micheal Jackson” Andrew says.
“No more, serious, all we do is watch movies” I say.
“Fine a romantic one?” he asks
“NO MOVIES, plus you know I don’t like romantic movies” I say.
“Just teasing” he says.
“How about shopping?” I ask.
He glares at me.
“Come on please I need to get a present for your sisters birthday” I say.
“Fine” he says.

A lot has changed since last year. About 5 months after Gerard and I broke up, Andrew asked me out. I said yes and we are still going out. Jared had broken up with Kristen about 4 months ago cause he found her cheating on him with her ex boyfriend. But really, Jared only caught them cheating because he was going around to her house to break up with her anyway, Jared was still single but he didn’t care. Melissa and Tahlia and I are very good friends. Gerard and I are still very good friends but I don’t call him everyday like I useb to, But we do e-mail each other a fair bit.
Mikey had learnt to play bass quite well. Frankie was totally wicked at guitar as usual. And Matt had been learning drums, Paula was still with Matt but lately their relationship had been on the rocks. When I found out about Ray and Lucy I wanted to kill her, I can’t believe she would do something like that. But Ray had gotten over it, which was good, and now he was learning guitar.
By the sound of things he was pretty good at it. But I had stopped talking about Gerard and everybody from New Jersey to my friends at school, I didn’t think they really cared anyway, and if a question came up I would try to avoid it.

We walk to the Mall.
“So how is your sister anyway?” I ask.
“Oh she’s good” he says.
We walk into a shop.
I immediately set my eyes on some nice black boots.
“Oh how about these” I say.
“Aren’t they a bit… too grown up for her” he says.
“I meant for me” I say.
“Oh, I thought we were shopping for my sis” He replies.
“Oh sorry, right shopping for your sis” I say.
We look around the shop but ther's nothing she would really like,
We walk into another.
“How about this” he says showing me something.
It’s a black necklace with a big pink heart hanging off it.
“You don’t know your sister very well do you?” I say.
“Well I’m not a girl” he says.
“Unless” I say.
He laughs.
“So you are?” I ask jokingly.
“Hell yeah” he says joking.
A necklace catches my eye.
It’s a silver necklace with a spider charm coming off it.
“This is perfect for your sis” I say to Andrew.
“Yeah that awesome” he replies.
I pick it up and take it to the counter and buy it.
“She is so gonna love this” I say.
“Yeah” he says.
“So what you wanna do now?” I ask.
“How about that movie?” he asks with a smirk.
“Gah” I say and hit him.
We both start laughing.
“Hey” Jared says walking up to us.
“Hey Jared” I say.
“Hi” Andrew says.
“What you guys doing?” Jared asks.
Andrew smirks.
“Don’t say it” I say.
“Say what?” Jared asks.
“Watching a movie” Andrews says still with a smirk.
“NO MORE MOVIES” I say.
“What’s up with movies?” Jared asks.
“Do you know how many we have seen this past week?” I ask.
“No, how many?” Jared asks.
“Like 25 or something” I say.
“Whoa” he says.
“Come on this one has a zom…” he says and realizes I’m glaring at him
“Fine”
“So what are we gonna do OTHER than going to see a movie?” I ask.
“I dunno” Andrew says.
“How about we check on your sisters?” I ask.
“Yeah they are at my place” Jared says “That’s why I’m here”
“We have to take my sisters present home first and hide it” Andrew says.
“Okay” I say.

We walk out of the Mall and to Andrews, We walk inside
Andrew takes the present and goes into his room and hides it.

He comes back and we walk to Jared’s.
We go inside.
“Yo Tahlia where are you?” Jared yells out.
“In my room” She yells back.
“Mel there with ya?” he yells.
“Yeah” she yells back.
“Well are you gonna come greet me and Andrew and Jac…” he says.
“Jacquie’s here” she yells coming out with Mel.
“Hey” I say to them.
“Hey” they reply.
“So what are you doing?” I ask.
“Art” Tahlia says.
“Cool” I say, “can I see?”
“Sure” Tahlia says.
We walk into her room and she shows me some drawings she has done.
“These are good” I say.
“Thanks” Tahlia replies.
We walk out the room.
“You have come just in time we are about to watch a movie” Mel says.
Andrew smirks at me.
“Man” I say.
We all sit down except me.
“Sit” Jared orders me.
“Wish I could” I say “no room”
“Sit on my lap” Andrew says.
I sit on his lap.
“Comfortable?” he asks.
“Totally” I say.


After movie…
“Well that was cool” I say.
“Hell yeah” Mel and Tahlia say at the same time.
“You two freak me out sometimes you know that” I say
They laugh and get up and go into Tahlia’s room.
“You coming?” Tahlia asks.
I look at Andrew, He is asleep and so is Jared.
I get off Andrew and try to make sure I don’t wake him.
I walk into Tahlia’s room.
“So what are you doing now?” I ask.
“Meh Reading” Mel says reading.
“Talking” Tahlia says.
“Sitting” They both say.
“Okay” I reply and sit next to Tahlia on her bed.
We sit for a couple of minutes in silence.
“So” I say trying to break it.
“What?” Mel asks looking up from her book.
“I dunno” I say.
An evil smile appears across Mel’s face, She looks up at Tahlia, Tahlia then realizes Mel is looking at her.
“What the fuck is up with you?” She asks.
“Oh this is gonna be fun” Mel says getting up and putting her book down.
She walks out of the room.
Tahlia and I look at each other and shrug and get up and walk out the room too.

Mel is in front of Andrew.
She looks at him and her evil smile gets bigger.
She turns around and walks as far as she can get from Andrew.
She then runs at him and jumps on him.
“OH FUCK” Andrew yells when Mel crashes on him.
Mel gets off him and then falls to the ground in a fit of laughter.
Tahlia starts cracking up and is holding her sides.
I hold back my laughter.
I look at Jared who just tosses over.
“No more ladies” he says sleeply.
This cracks Andrew and I up.
Finally Jared wakes up to the sound of laughter.
“What the fuck are you laughing at?” he asks.
“No more ladies” Andrew impersonates and laughs.
“What?” Jared asks.
“You were sleep talking” I say.
“Damn” he says rather embarrassed.
“Don’t worry you haven’t heard what Andrew says” Mel reassures him.
“Like?” Jared asks.
“Well once he said yeah suck tha…” she says but Andrew covers her mouth.
Jared is laughing his head off. I hold in my laughter.
Mel bites him and he lets go.
“OW” Andrew yells.
Mel laughs.
“I oughta” he says.
“big mother fu….” Mel says but Andrew grabs her in a headlock.
Mel starts gasping for air, One thing Mel hated was having the feeling of being choked or anything around her neck.
“STOP” she managed to yell out.
“Fuck let her go” I say and pull her from his grip.
Mel sits down rubbing her throat.
“You know she hates that” I say to him.
“Well she was gonna say … stuff” He says.
“Still” I say.
“Take her side why don’t ya” he says.
“I’m not taking sides, but hurting your sister because of her saying things is silly” I say.
“Whatever” he says.
Mel kicks him straight under his…. Stomach (You know what I mean lol).
“Fu…Chicken” he yells.
“Chicken?” I ask.
“shut up” he says falling onto a seat holding himself.
“That wasn’t very nice Mel” I say.
“Getting him back” She says with a smirk.
Mel and Tahlia high five each other.
I shake my head.
“Umm I need to go get some stuff from home Ands so yeah see ya in a bit” Mel says about to walk out the door.
Andrew jumps up.
“Wait up mum will kill me if I let you walk by yourself home” Andrew says running up to her and walking by her side.
“It’s weird those two can have huge arguments over anything and be friends again just like that” Jared says.
“Not like us, we have fights and not talk to each other for weeks” Tahlia says with a laugh.
“Remember that one that went on for like a 3 months and I broke it by asking you what it was about and then we realized we forgot” Jared says laughing.
“Yeah that was funny I still can’t remember what that was” Tahlia says with a laugh.
“Aww brotherly and sisterly love” I say.
We all laugh and watch TV.
