Chapter 7 - OMG do i like her? (Gerard's POV)

"Yeah mum she’s an awesome drawer and she has nice blue eyes and dark brown hair it’s almost black like mine,” I said to mum.
"Oooo think you have a little crush" Mum said.
"What?" I replied, "No she’s only a friend".
"Who are you trying to convince me or yourself?" she said with a smile and then walked off.

Could it be I'm in love with a girl I barely know. A girl who I just met today. A girl who has the greatest smile, the greatest eyes and some who likes to draw just like me. Nah mum's got it wrong.

The phone rings. I hear mum answer it. "Gerard it's Matt" I hear her yell at me. I run to mum and take the phone off her.
"Hey Matt why didn't you call me on my cell?" I asked him.
"I did no answer" he replied.
I walk to my room quickly and pick up my phone. (1 missed call: Matt)
"Oh sorry Matt I got it on silent" I told him.
"Well anyway so how is you and Jacquie?" he asked.
"What do you mean?" I asked nervously.
"I'm just joking with you man why are you so tense... OH you do like her?" he said.
"No... No I don't,” I said quickly.
"Sure. Anyway have you got that new comic yet?" he asked.
"Umm what new comic?" I asked not knowing what the hell he was talking about.
"The marvel one?" he said.
"Umm there’s a lot of Marvel ones... OH you mean that new new one that I said to you that I wasn't getting because mum says it’s a waste of time and money?" I said to him being a smart ass because he already knew this.
"Um yeah oh never mind your such a loser sometimes Gerard" he said joking.
"Oh shut up you freak,” I said laughing.
" Gerard bath time right now mister" I hear mum yell at me.
"Aww see ya later mister go have your little bathy with bubbles" I hear Matt saying in a baby voice.
"Shut up Matt well anyway bye" I said.
"Bye" he said.

I hung up the phone and went to my room and got my pj's and went and had my bath.

After my bathy wathy (sorry I had to write that lol)
I got dressed in my pj's and put my other clothes in the laundry.

"Mikey come here right now" I heard my mum yell.What had Mikey done now he was only 11 years old and very fucken cheeky. I saw Mikey walk into the living room.

"What do you call this?" I hear mum yell.
"Chocolate popcorn" I heard him reply. I walked into to the living room excepting a really big mess or something. But no a bowl half full with popcorn covered in chocolate and two spoons in it."And caramel" he also added as mum turned the bowl upside down and nothing fell out. I couldn't help but laugh it was funny my brother did this quite often.

"Gerard did you help him?" Mum asked me.
Before I could answer Mikey said "No do you think he has the brains to do this? Me and Frankie did".
Frankie was a friend of Mikey's he was a year younger than him but he was still pretty awesome for a little kid.
"What, I’m smart lil bro" I said to him.
"I'm not little,” he said running at me about to punch me till I moved and he ran head first into the wall. I laughed a little as he got up.
"Well that doesn't fix this bowl does it?" mum said. I took the bowl out of her hands.
"If I can clean this and get everything off it can I have 5 bucks?" I asked mum.
"Okay then" mum replied.

I told Mikey "Well I guess its time for a...”
"Oh god no" mum interrupted me.
"MOVIE" Mikey yelled " Horror movie YAY".
Of course most times Mikey was asleep about 25 minutes into the movie but still he would probably end up eating all of this weird popcorn thing.

5 minutes later...
I had set my room up for the movie I made a little bed on the floor for Mikey cause he will probably fall asleep and I didn't wanna share my bed with him. Cause he liked to kick and punch when he was sleeping. Evil little brother much?
"Gerard I wanna watch the movie now" he yelled at me.
"Okay heres the popcorn i've got my own over there with me" I said handing him the bowl of popcorn he made earlier with Frankie. I put on the movie. I went and sat on my bed eating my popcorn, which had no chocolate or caramel on it. Mikey was scooping up huge hand fulls of popcorn and eating it.

25 minutes later...
Mikey had eaten all of his popcorn ages ago and stolen mine eaten all of that and had fallen asleep. I got up and opened the door. I picked Mikey up and took him into his room and tucked him into bed. I closed the door and searched for mum in the living room but the TV was off so I was guessing mum had gone to sleep. She looked after all of us so she normally goes to sleep quite early.

I went to the kitchen and poured a glass of water. I drank the glass of water and went to my room and closed the door. I turned the light on and turned the TV off and went to my desk and I decided to draw. I tried drawing a vampire but it kept changing into Jacquie. Oh god I can't get her off my mind. I quickly scrunch up that piece of paper and throw it into the bin in my room. I turn off the light and decide to go to bed. But she’s still on my mind. Maybe it is just that I'm getting used to her, yeah that’s why. I finally fall asleep.
